Brown Design is excited to announce that work has begun on our largest commercial project to date! We have been working alongside the owners of a Los Angeles hotel to redesign the interior spaces of the 70 room building. Phase one includes the modernization of the ground level lounge and bar. The updated materials that we'll be using include concrete floors, smooth stucco walls, modern millwork, and a new lighting scheme. We will also be removing several walls to make way for a new bar. Here are some shots of the lounge and bar during demolition.
After the lounge is completed, work will begin on a new lobby, a second floor restaurant, and the guest suites. Our goal is to create a modern and luxurious atmosphere throughout the hotel by using a cohesive design concept. We’re very excited about the hotel because we’re able to use our design sense and capabilities on a large-scale commercial project. We’ll more post pictures as the project progresses.
Congratulations! What a fantastic project! Very much looking forward to see the results!

What an enormous project! Okay, if you can do this, I certainly can finish two small guesthouses in Marrakech, right?
