When it comes to interior design, "rules" are meant to be broken. Think outside of the box to come up with fresh ideas to create unique spaces. However, keep in mind that less is usually more.
Rather than folding a throw and draping it over a chair or sofa in your living room, try the creative approach below. The throw not only looks like a stripe on a the chair, but is a clean way of displaying it and makes the room look fresh and sophisticated.
When selecting seating, whether it be around a dining room table or in a living room, mix the chair types. In the image below, two different chairs are being used around a single dining room table. It's unexpected and really creates a space that feels new and inspired.
I absolutely love your blog,I feel like anytime I have a design dilemma, i.e. trying to paint my daughter's room pink without it looking tacky or finding seating that goes with my living room, this blog speaks right to me! Thank you and keep up the amazing work!
