Books that Inspire

As designers, we are always looking for new inspiration.  We find inspiration in many ways, but one source comes from books.  We are going to start sharing some of the books that we love.  If you are also looking for a dose of inspiration, pick up a copy. 

Thad Hayes recently came out with a beautiful book, “Thad Hayes: The Tailored Interior” that we love.

His book features twenty-two homes, ranging from a New York penthouse, to an upstate country home, to a Palm Beach retreat.  He has a beautiful transitional style (a blend of traditional and contemporary styles) that will remain timeless. 

 

Pick of the Week

We love these oversized wine bottles from Pottery Barn.  They were purchased from a collector who found them while scouring restaurants in Europe.  Prices range from $99 for the small bottle to $279 for the extra large size.
